The Mad FORCs, Madison's Female Off-Road Cyclists, started  in the spring of 1994 as a way to encourage more women to get involved in mountain biking.  In 1995, the club expanded to include a race team as it was clear that there needed to be more women at the races.

Although the club started with only 20 members it has grown to over 40 members and is one of the largest mountain biking clubs in Wisconsin.

The Mad FORCs (pronounced forks not forces) is open to women of all mountain biking levels - beginner to experts - with the emphasis on having fun.  Slow or fast, a desire to learn more about and enjoy the sport of mountain biking is all that is required!
